GPS Clock for PC time sync to NMEA GPS device GPS Clock 1.0.001 GPS Clock Software is a freeware utility that runs on any Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 workstation or server. The software polls time from a standard NMEA GPS time receiver connected to the host PC's serial port and optionally allows time to be synchronised on the host PC. The GPS clock utility polls GPRMC messages from a standard NMEA GPS time receiver. Information received from the GPS receiver such as time, date, gps status, satellites is shown.

Would be a nice small tool. With our environment (Windows XP) after a short while it crashes.

I was unable to download this as the link dissapeared when I selected it.

Looked good, appears that it is not freeware any more as all the download links go back to the main page of the company that wrote the software.

The download was fine but the countdown timer sucks. Can't get it work right and it causes my blackberry curve to be re-b ooted. There, you happy now?

Opinion I was not able to successfully download GPS Clock 1.0.001. Please help... ron-williams+comcast.net

Good program. After soldering connections to my gps receiver (I'm using an oem magellan gps module and I had it setup to only output data.) I sent an initialization string to it so I could get the required $gprmc string out of the unit. I also let the gps warm up in the configuration utility I have for the module. I then closed that utility and opened gps clock and with no modification of any settings (i am using com1) it started displaying the gps's time.oh, what nmea sentence are you using to get the number of satellites in view.
